LW Resort House was founded by Dallas-based designer Lindsay Weatherread Houston, whose career in fashion spans 25 years as a wardrobe stylist, costume designer & producer for commercial advertising, tv, and print.

In 2026 Lindsay set out to create a swimwear collection centered around a single goal: the perfect sustainable reversible halter bikini. The result is LW Resort House’s signature silhouette—a thoughtfully engineered, truly reversible design featuring a hidden pocket construction for removable pads, offering two looks in one without compromising comfort, support, or style. Focusing on use of recycled fabric & pads with non hazardous certifications. Rather than chasing trends, the collection focuses on one refined shape offered in a curated range of colorways designed to complement a variety of skin tones.

The resortwear side of the collection emerged from an exciting discovery. While her brother was revisiting family archives, he uncovered original artwork created by their mother during her college years in 1969. The pieces felt relevant, expressive, and full of story. Inspired by their mom’s hidden talent, Lindsay reimagined the artwork onto fabric, creating a collection that bridges generations through design. 

Today, LW Resort House brings together reversible swimwear, original artwork, and thoughtful craftsmanship for people who value versatility, artistry, and sustainability.
